Advice that you can trust at a price that I could afford....

I run my office from my home and use a Dell main computer running Windows XP a  Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 and Toshiba notebook also running XP with the usual peripheal devices. I was experiencing a slow speed connection to the internet for both downloads and uploads that was impacting on my work. Additionally I had set up a home network connecting the three computers but I was also having difficulty not only  with inter-connectivity but also with individual internet access. My internet provider was Eclipse and they gave me a poor help-line service and a slow connection and download speed which they insisted was my problem not theirs.

I found John Phillips business telephone number and asked him to come to my home and assess the problems. John was immediately business-like in his approach as he looked at my systems. He told me that he could quickly fix the home network problems, speed up my internet connection and unclutter my operating systems which were running too many useless programmes that kept trying to connect to the internet and therefore slowed down the system. Additionally my security protection was inadequate.

He gave me a fixed price for his work confirming that even if he had to return he would not charge more. He found the problem concerning connectivity and installed and set up a wireless router. Monitoring internet connection speeds he was convinced that the problem was not at my end and contacted the Eclipse help-line. After further monitoring their service he recommended a change of provider to Plusnet which I did. I got a better service and a faster connection for less money.

I know my way around the systems but I am not technically minded. John was patient in his explanation of the problems he found and clearly laid out the possible solutions. He proved to be trustworthy and I now use him regularly to upgrade my security system and keep the system problem free. His fees are reasonable and fair. I have no hesitation in recommending John and his Company as an excellent resource for small business users like myself. Additionally, his expertise extends well beyond simply computer expertise and he has made first class suggestions that I have acted upon in respect of streamlining my own business.
